1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FaceFate (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Entertainment Purposes Only
FaceFate provides AI-generated face reading, personality and fortune interpretations inspired by traditional Chinese physiognomy (面相學), together with beauty and styling suggestions. All results are generated for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only. They do not constitute scientific, medical, psychological, financial, legal or any other professional advice, and you should not rely on them when making decisions.
3. Your Content and Consent
You must only upload photos that you have the right to use. If you upload a photo of another person, you confirm that you have obtained their consent (or the consent of their parent/guardian if they are a minor) for the photo to be analysed by the Service. You must not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content. You retain ownership of your photos; you grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service to you.
4. Third-Party AI Providers
Analyses and generated images are produced using third-party AI model providers (such as Google Gemini and OpenAI) under their enterprise/commercial API terms. Under those terms, these providers have agreed that API data is not used to train their models. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, but we select providers that offer enterprise-grade data handling standards.
5. Accounts and Data Control
Saved readings are private to your account and are not visible to other users. You may delete your readings and uploaded photos at any time using the delete controls in the app.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss or disclosure of data — including images — arising from system failures, security breakdowns, or the acts or omissions of third-party service providers (including AI model providers and hosting/infrastructure providers), except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, text and branding, is owned by the FaceFate team. You may share your own result cards on social media; you may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service.
